GB Crystal: Base Tilesets

Contains enough stuff to make a lot of background maps for a retro pokelike, or to customize a gen 1/2 Pokémon rom hack, or any type of 16x16 / 8x8 top-down game. They are made to work on the actual Game Boy hardware so they can be used in GB Studio. 

This asset pack includes:

• Low and high hill/cave walls
• Several houses and roof styles
• Some floor and wall patterns
• Modular streets and curbs
• Modular planters with flowers
• 6 plants with potted versions
• A tree
• Modular table and chairs
• 2 Vending machines and a cooler
• 3 Slot machines
• 2 computers and a tv with a console
  
• 4 modular closets and cabinets
• 3 stairs styles and an elevator door
• A single and king size bed
• Modular counters and seperator walls
• A truck

These assets use only 4 colors and no transparancy. I made the colored examples by recoloring the base assets in GB Studio. If you want to use colors i highly suggest you pick your own palette as the ones in the examples are just suggestions.

Contains no Nintendo, Pokémon, or Gamefreak copyrighted materials, so it can be used for commercial projects as long as you don't add any copyrighted materials yourself. Although these assets are based on existing games, they are all made from scratch.
